The Value of Collaborative HR Workspaces
Managing risk across a growing company requires coordinating actions between line managers who interact with employees daily and the HR compliance teams who understand the legal guardrails. A unified team workspace connects supervisors to review queues, ensuring no sensitive communications slip through the cracks without verification.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Settings
We enforce strict role separation to protect employee privacy and maintain database security. The table below outlines the default permission matrices for each workspace role:

| Owner | Typically the purchasing contact or HR Director. | Full access to billing, inviting members, managing subscriptions, and system settings. |
| Admin | HR Operations lead or system administrators. | Manage workspace configurations, upload handbooks, edit policy settings, and view workspace analytics. |
| Reviewer | HR Business Partners and compliance counsel. | Read and edit all manager drafts, change case statuses (Approve/Reject), and add internal HR notes. |
| Manager | Line managers, supervisors, and department heads. | Create scans, view their own case histories, apply suggested rewrites, and submit drafts to review. Cannot view other managers' cases or access Billing. |
Adding Users and Setting Up Roles
- Navigate to the Workspace Settings page via the sidebar.
- Under the Team Members tab, click Invite Member.
- Enter the colleague's corporate email address and select their starting role (e.g., Manager or Reviewer).
- Click Send Invitation. The colleague will receive an invitation link to create their account and join the workspace.
