Getting Started
Quick Start: Running Your First Risk Scan
Learn how to paste managers' message drafts, trigger a compliance check, and apply safer wording suggestions immediately.
Introduction
Retaliation Risk Checker is designed to screen sensitive supervisor communications before they are sent to employees. By identifying risky phrasing related to protected leave (FMLA), accommodation requests (ADA), and whistleblower complaints, we help your organization prevent costly retaliation lawsuits.
How to Run Your First Scan
- Navigate to the Home page of the platform.
- Locate the central input field labeled "Paste manager message draft...".
- Enter the exact wording the manager intends to send. For example: "Your attendance absences are becoming a problem for the team's morale."
- Select a Department tag from the dropdown (if unlocked on your plan) to categorize this case for future audit trails.
- Click the Analyze Draft button.
Interpreting the Wording Analysis
Once submitted, our compliance engine evaluates the text in under two seconds. The result screen displays three key components:
- Risk Rating: A clear status tag of
LOW,MEDIUM, orHIGHretaliation exposure. - Safer Rewrite: A professionally adjusted alternative that delivers the same business message without legal exposure.
- Risk Signals & Explanation: Clear bullets explaining why certain phrases were flagged (e.g., tying medical leave directly to performance warnings).
Adopting the Suggestion
Simply click the Copy button beside the rewrite text block. Managers can then paste this compliant draft directly into their email client or messaging tool, leaving a clean compliance history.
