Types of Document Exports Supported

Our platform supports exporting your compliance scan records in two formats to accommodate your off-system archival needs:

  • Markdown (.md): A clean, text-based report containing the original wording, risk rating, explanation, and final approved rewrites. Ideal for copying into PDF templates, ticketing systems, or lawyer briefs.
  • JSON (.json): A structured data file containing all database records including metadata (latency, prompts version, IP hash, and review events). Best for programmatic archiving.

Single-Review vs. Bulk Export Rules

We separate exports based on volume and plan allowances:

  1. Single Export (Starter/Pro): Initiated from the top-right corner of individual Review Record detail pages.
    • Starter tier permits up to 25 single exports per month.
    • Pro tier permits up to 200 single exports per month.
    • HR and SMB tiers offer unlimited single exports.
  2. Bulk Export (HR/SMB): Triggered by checking multiple cases in your History List and selecting Export Markdown (HR) or Export JSON (HR). This compiles multiple records into a single compiled document. HR plans limit this to 200 bulk reports per month; SMB is unlimited.

Handling Export Overages

If you click export and have exceeded your monthly limit, our backend returns a 429 LIMIT_REACHED status. The system will record a limit_reached event and display a popup guiding you to upgrade your plan.
