Welcome to Retaliation Check. By accessing or using our website, AI wording analysis engine, dashboard, and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before utilizing our tools.

1. Nature of Service & Disclaimer of Legal Advice

Retaliation Check provides automated text processing, linguistic analysis, and pattern matching focused on standard US employment laws (including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations).

CRITICAL NOTICE: The evaluations, risk levels, and alternative text formulations generated by this tool are for general guidance and educational purposes only. They DO NOT constitute formal legal advice, representation, or compliance certification. Using this tool does not establish an attorney-client relationship. You should consult certified employment attorneys or qualified HR counsel before taking final action on employee disputes, terminations, or warning letters.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You are solely responsible for all content, drafts, and messages you input into our system. You agree that you will not submit text that:

  • Contains highly sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as Social Security Numbers, specific medical records, or exact patient identifiers.
  • Contains trade secrets, proprietary source code, or intellectual property without proper authorization.
  • Is intended to harass, stalk, or unlawfully discriminate against any individual.
  • Bypasses or attempts to disrupt our platform's infrastructure, rate limits, or security scanning mechanisms.

3. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing

Certain features, such as higher monthly scan ranges, saved history folders, exports, and custom policy groundings, require active subscription plans. All pricing and terms are defined as follows:

  • Stripe Processing: All transactions are executed securely via Stripe. We do not store or inspect credit card credentials on our servers.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription plan at any time through the billing dashboard. Your access will remain active until the end of the current pre-paid billing cycle.
  • Rate Limits: Free accounts are restricted to 3 scans per 24 hours. Bypassing this threshold using automation or scripts is a breach of these terms.

4. Intellectual Property & AI Models

The code, styles, logo design, database schemas, and overall look-and-feel of Retaliation Check are the exclusive intellectual property of the site owners. Employee wording submitted for analysis may be saved to provide history, review records, exports, and audit trails. We do not use submitted wording to train public AI models.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retaliation Check and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use our tool, or from actions you take with employees based on the risk assessments.
