Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Retaliation Check uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
2. Essential Cookies We Deploy
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver our website services. These include:
- Session Integrity Cookies: Anonymous session tokens that verify your rate-limit usage (allowing up to 3 free wording scans per day) and prevent malicious scraping.
- Authentication Session Tokens: Set securely by Clerk to identify you and grant access to your private saved history folders.
- Stripe Checkout Tokens: Essential security headers required by Stripe when executing encrypted subscription checkouts.
3. Marketing & Third-Party Cookies
We do not deploy marketing, advertising, or behavior tracking cookies on our platform. Your scans are processed in-memory and are never linked to commercial third-party trackers or retargeting campaigns.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website, though your access to some functionality and secure areas (like the account dashboard) will be restricted.
You can delete cookies that have already been saved by resetting your browser cookies history settings at any time.
